Jump to race: California Governor | Los Angeles Mayor | Statewide & Top Local Races IFrame The race for California governor will come down to the top two vote-getters, who will face each other in the November general election. The top three candidates for California governor are former Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra, billionaire environmental activist Tom Steyer, and Republican commentator Steve Hilton. The Los Angeles mayoral race also features a three-way race between incumbent Karen Bass, Los Angeles City Councilmember Nithya Raman, and reality television personality Spencer Pratt. Like the gubernatorial race, the mayoral contest is also likely to lead to a November runoff between the top two candidates.
