I've been getting too used to writing my thoughts to an AI, I want to stop doing that. There is no particular reason to prefer an AI to a simple text file, other than the fact that it writes back. But after a while, you start to notice that all of the AI's replies are much the same thing. So, perhaps I can use this platform as a replacement, after all, it is called "feels", implying it is for writing about how I am feeling, my thoughts, etc, that is, to write freely and not care about delivering something polished, interesting, or any of that. I make them public because it is no fun writing to myself, and a reader that might choose to come and read them (as I've been reading some of the neighbours' feels) knows what they are in for. This is the kind of things for which I come to the wider internet, for these kinds of things that... ok granted, there may be webpages for that. But it's nice to see there are little featurelets like this one. I wonder, though, what I would be comfortable writing here. My usual thoughts on learning and whatnot, my loose ideas on history and perhaps human behaviour, my worries about the future, that all finds a good place for expression right here. But what about the darker bits? Those things that usually get a bad reception from others. I don't expect there will be much of an audience to my feels here, this is not a place for communicating with other users, I am unlikely to get any backlash, and yet... and yet, I don't know if I should expose too much about myself, those bits that even I know are not right to say in public.... Well, there'll be time for that. In the meantime, I will write in this place as if it were a diary, precisely like a diary.
